Sheila Willis

Sheila Willis, a licensed professional counselor, is a native East Texan who was born and raised in Longview. She has spent the last 20 years partnering with rural East Texas communities providing pro bono counseling services to individuals of all ages, including couples and family. She developed, organized and facilitated need-based group counseling sessions that empowered individuals and unified communities.

Sheila earned her Master of Divinity and Professional Counseling degree from Amridge University’s Turner School of Theology in Montgomery, Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from LeTourneau University.

Sheila specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focus Therapy (SFT) and Crisis Intervention. She is very passionate about aiding individuals in their grieving process. Through her hospice chaplaincy work with grieving people, and drawing from her own personal experiences, Sheila is fully aware of the complexities associated with grief and loss. Sheila is adamant about each client understanding their right to grieve in their individual and unique way. She strongly believes that every individual has the power within themselves to overcome any obstacle and considers herself blessed to have an opportunity to assist them in accessing that power.

In her spare time, Sheila enjoys public speaking, singing, playing musical instruments and fishing. Her greatest joy comes from spending quality time with her family.
