Amberly Shaw, MA, is a licensed professional counselor who provides counseling services to children, adolescents and adults with diverse behavioral health needs. Drawing on her 20-plus years’ of experience in mental health, she helps individuals understand diagnoses, learn coping strategies to improve symptoms and process through difficult feelings and situations in order to live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Amberly acquired a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Texas A&M University at College Station in 2000. She then earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology degree from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2003. Being a Texarkana native, Amberly returned home after completing her education, where she has served the mental health needs of Texarkana residents ever since. She feels blessed to have had experiences in different work environments, including clinic, school, private practice and professional training that have helped build her unique skill set. Amberly is excited to continue her professional journey at Texarkana Care Clinic.
