Chief Human Resources Officer

Michael P. Simmons, MLS-HR, PHR, SHRM-CP, serves as chief human resources officer.

He joined Special Health Resources in 2024 and previously served as director of human resources. Michael has more than 14 years of human resource management experience from various industries.

Michael holds a Master of Legal Studies in Human Resources and Employment Law from Texas A&M University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from LeTourneau University. Michael is an EEOC-certified Equal Employment Opportunity Investigator who holds PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, and he is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Michael is also a proud veteran of the US Army.
